A recent trend is prominent blacks like Kobe Bryant getting in trouble over remarks insensitive to gays. For example, somebody named Roland Martin just got suspended from doing something or other at CNN because he tweeted  after watching a Super Bowl ad:

It's like how a lot of white people were disappointed when Jesse Jackson somewhat shifted from the 1970s to the 1980s from advocating more that blacks clean up their act to shaking down whites. But you weren't supposed to say that, so a lot of people got very worked up over Jackson once using in conversation the term "Hymietown." Unlike whites in general, Jews are an Official Victim Group, so this single word was the biggest loophole in his Civil Rights armor.
