WASHINGTON — President Obama has bowed to the concerns of Senate Democrats up for election this fall and will delay until late this year executive action that would reshape the nation’s immigration system without congressional approval, White House officials said on Saturday.

The decision is a drastic reversal of Mr. Obama’s vow to take action on immigration soon after summer’s end.

Three points:

1. This is what control of the MSM really means—a Leftist Democratic Administration can shamelessly say it intends to cheat the electorate by not giving it a chance to vote on its massive, nation-breaking, unconstitutional scheme because it knows its manipulation will not be challenged.
2. Of course, with this flagrant White House admission, the GOP can still run against Amnesty. It probably won't, because the GOP Establishment is useless at winning elections, and is anyway on the other side.
3. Obama has backed down, the NYT reports, because "nervous Senate Democrats in Arkansas, Louisiana, North Carolina and Alaska have told White House officials that Mr. Obama’s actions could cost them victory at the polls." So much for two years of Treason Lobby pollaganda and spin claiming that Amnesty/ Immigration Surge (lyingly called "Immigration Reform") was popular.

Bottom line: this is a HUGE triumph for immigration patriots a.k.a. VDARE.com readers.
